The beautifully contoured handle has been thoughtfully hand-crafted from French grape vines. Decorative markings on the wood serve as a charming signature of the master knife-smith who made the tool. A gentle curve to the handle provides perfect leverage to wind the screw into a cork. Partnered with the folding lever, the five-turn groove spiral assures fast removal of even the most delicate vintage cork. The blade of the Forge de Laguiole® Sommelier housed within the handle, allows the foil on you bottle to be cut away cleanly and easily. Trimmed in a high polished stainless steel and finished with the iconic Laguiole Bee resting just below the corkscrew.
